Symptoms of Depression

There are many medical conditions that are linked to depression including chronic pain, heart disease, and lupus among others. Having depression may cause a person to feel hopeless and empty, and therefore irritable and frustrated as they are unable to enjoy life’s pleasures. This may lead to withdrawal from social settings and relationships.
